Its base attack is astonishingly weak, even at max level, but it does inflict poison. The Injector is a dagger length "Injector" weapon (it functions like a spear - click to poke once, hold to keep it extended). Imbued with extra attack power, this collar provides fine defensive ability.The Injector and The Shovel of Crail are both amazing new weapons that are top class in the game. Imbued with a special power to increase energy generation, while also protecting its wearer. This collar is meant to increase health and provide excellent defensive power.

It's useful to have multiple sets of armour in order to adjust to the environment you're exploring or the activity you're doing. Each armour set has its own playstyle, pros, and cons, and all armour sets can be upgraded through the tricorder interface, allowing you to use any set of armour for as long as you want. Frackin' Universe adds much more armour variety, with a number of sets for each tier in the game, all the way to Tier 8.
